Most security investments focus on systems — perimeters, endpoints, networks, data. These are necessary. But they do not address the structural conditions that allow authorised people, following legitimate processes, to cause irreversible damage.

SecureArk was built to address this gap. Not as a cybersecurity company. Not as a consulting firm. As a Human-Centric Security & Trust Architecture practice — working at the intersection of organisational design, decision architecture, and human risk.

Pavan's work is rooted in a simple observation: the most consequential failures in modern organisations are not caused by breaches or policy violations. They are caused by structurally unsound decisions — decisions made by authorised people, through normal channels, under conditions that appeared routine.

His approach is investigative, not prescriptive. He studies how trust, authority, urgency, and routine interact within organisational systems — and where those interactions create uncontained risk.

His work is influenced by systems thinking, decision science, and the mechanics of real incidents — not by compliance checklists or vendor frameworks. He wrote The Human Attack Surface to give structure to a problem that, until now, had no owner, no framework, and no formal analysis.

The book is not motivational. It is structural. It exists because the problem it describes deserves precise, leadership-level attention.
